My name is Ana Maria Prelipcean, based in Bucharest, Romania. I’ve discovered film photography when I was studying Journalism, back in the 90’s.
I prefer black and white, noise because they help me capture the rawness of the everyday life, that mood, those emotions and surrealism of the streets. I hunt textures, I use double exposures, slow shutter speeds, all those ingredients that make a picture seem out of this world
Now I work as a full time studio photographer and a part time psychotherapist. Over the last three years I’ve been exhibited in Bucharest, Cluj and in 2022 I’ve been part of Progressive Street and Art Photofestival, Milan (5-15 10.2022) and Women street photographers in Hyderabad, India (18.11-19.12.2022)
